Parents And Friends Community

pfc.jpg

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) began in 2013, the year before St Mary of the Cross opened on its current site. The PFA has grown considerably over the years and is a great community - the Parents and Friends Community (PFC).

Since the school started, the parents of the school community have worked together on a multitude of events, including our annual trivia nights, raffles, hot cross bun drives, school discos, bake sales, stay and play afternoons, monthly meetings and cuppa & conversation mornings.

The aim of the Parents and Friends Community is;

To provide a medium for families to participate in the school community.

To promote social interactions between parents of the school, including new parents, families and the local community.

To pursue fundraising and social projects for the welfare and benefit of the school community.

To allocate fundraising profits for the benefit of the school community.

The PFC meets monthly during the school year to catch up with other parents, chat about school events and how we can further benefit the school community.
