Parents and Friends

The Parents and Friends Association began in 2013, the year before St Mary of the Cross opened on its current site. Meetings were held to establish what our P&F might look like.

Over the years since the parents of the school community have worked together on big and little events across the school year, including the Annual Trivia Night, raffles, hot cross bun drives, school discos and end of term lunches.

The aim of the Parents and Friends is;
To provide a medium for families to participate in the school community.
To promote social interactions between parents of the school, including new parents and the local community.
To pursue fundraising and social projects for the welfare or benefit of the school community.
To allocate fundraising profits for the welfare or benefit of the school community.

The Parents and Friends meet on the last Wednesday of every month (excluding school holidays). Meetings commence at 7.30pm and are usually concluded by 9.00pm.
